Co-founder

“I started Genvironment because I believe in the capacity of youth to take a lead in the future of our world. Prior to Genvironment, I co-founded the Trevor Williams Kids Foundation, a non-profit youth-centred organization that focuses on academics and athletics. I also spent time in the for-profit world of advertising leading product launches and media teams. My biggest life accomplishment is my kids, who have taught me that there is no better time to give love than now. I have completed my undergraduate at Boston University and have recently acquired my MBA in Social Entrepreneurship. Continuing my education I have a certificate from Harvard University in non profit excellence and most recently completed a course at IDEO U on Business Design.”

Formerly Genvironment’s Chief Growth Officer, Sheri spent 2.5 years steering development and strategy with particular focus on growth and partnerships. During her time as Chief Growth Officer, she developed partnerships with community organizations to offer remote learning programming that built up youth who were particularly impacted by the Covid 19 pandemic. She also created and brought about the Youth Sustainability Commission and brought to life Genvironment’s youth-led publication, Uproot magazine. She has recently taken on the role of Strategic Program Development Officer at Montreal Community Cares Foundation.
