Safiya Sabir

Ms. Sabir is a science educator, environmental activist, and aspiring naturalist. Ms. Sabir teaches pre-K and elementary science programs at the American Museum of Natural History. She hopes to inspire families to get outside and observe nature around them, especially in cities. Ms. Sabir is a graduate student at Miami University of Ohio, Project Dragonfly. Through her graduate studies, Ms. Sabir has travelled to the Galápagos Islands and Baja California. In her free time Ms. Sabir enjoys cycling, birding, and hiking around New York City and beyond.
