Marketing and Communications

Ben Baril

I have spent the last 15 years helping companies use software to achieve their goals. While this has been an engaging, challenging career, it has always left me wanting to do more to help my community, country and citizens around the world achieve our mutual goals: solving the climate crisis and fighting for equality for all. I have always had a passion for equity and justice, access to good healthcare, and building vibrant and sustainable communities. Recently, I was appointed to the Board of the Ottawa South Community Association and I am looking forward to making real changes in my community. As a new father, I am motivated more than ever to work with the next generation of change makers to help them leverage technology in a responsible way. I am passionate about education and hands-on learning experiences and know that the future will be brighter, and greener in the hands of our children, with the right tools and education.
